It's 3 hours each way to Chicago, and Noel, as you might remember, she's not really a car baby. She now can sit in and sleep for about an hour and half to 2 hours, but the rest, depends on her mood. It's like a time bomb, I never know when she is going to start screaming.
Auntie Maggie was here so that makes everything easier, mom was even able to go to the restroom (otherwise I "hold it" until we get to uncle's house.)
I thought Noel might like fish, she was very interested in the fish tank at my uncle's. If we go to the fine art museum, the painting and sculptures don't move, and even baby hands have to keep off!
It's cold and raining on Christmas Eve, but thankfully the aquarium http://www.sheddaquarium.org/ was not every crowed. There is half a mile outdoor walk from the parking lot to the museum, so mommy kept Noel in the front carrier, covered up by the big heavy winter coat, auntie Maggie said she looked like a baby kangaroo!!
Cute Noel got attentions everywhere, there were lots other babies, but my "little kangaroo" was the most popular one! We had a fun time, Noel can track swimming fishes really well, and she loves the colorful tropical fish. Mom got to see the sea horse, remember that cartoon "Price of Sea" or if you translate it directly "Sea Prince" from our childhood? There is sea horse in it and I always wanted to see a real one.
All for now, the little girl is getting impatient , here is a photo you might like, from my friend's window in Switzerland over look Lake Geneva.
